----
"MIT grad student David Merrill demos Siftables -- cookie-sized, computerized tiles you can stack and shuffle in your hands. These future-toys can do math, play music, and talk to their friends, too. Is this the next thing in hands-on learning?"

I'm frankly gobsmacked! WOW!....this just sets my mind a reeling with all the possibilities and then i go back to the thought...is this just another toy or the next wave of interactive manipulative's!? what say you?
